Infectious Disease

Infectious diseases can be scary and create a lot of uncertainty. Our infectious disease specialists are experts and will work closely with you to help diagnose the cause and to help manage your infection, including helping manage your antibiotic therapy. We’re happy to work with you on either an inpatient or outpatient basis.

Infectious diseases we treat include surgical wound infections, orthopedic infections (including diabetic foot infections), HIV/AIDS, chronic viral hepatitis (B & C), infections from oncology treatments, chronic pneumonia (M. tuberculosis or non-tuberculosis), endocarditis and/or bloodstream infections, mycobacterial infections, among other infections. Patients we work with include patients with organ transplants, patients with hypogammaglobulinemia, patients receiving biologic agents, patients returning from travels or immigrants, or patients with fevers of unknown origins.
