Listen to doctors from around the globe—from Italy to Washington, D.C.—discuss how the addition of 3D mammography gives them a level of confidence they’ve never experienced before with any other type of mammogram. In this video, the doctors explain that they are finding cancers that would have otherwise walked back out the door undetected and are calling back less women for unnecessary additional testing.

According to these experts, 3D mammography is beneficial for all women, regardless of whether they are considered “high risk,” because the biggest risk factors for breast cancer ultimately are being a woman and getting older.

As Dr. Carole Z. Rubin explains, “We don’t prevent breast cancers. Our job is to detect it as early as possible. And 3D tomosynthesis is allowing us to do that.”
