About Summit Health

Originally known as the Robert Hemingway Memorial Clinic, Summit Health was founded in 1946 by five local providers. Currently, Summit Health has over 120 providers and Advanced Practice Providers(APP) representing 30 specialties and services including Urgent Care, Primary Care, Specialty Care, Imaging, Lab and Clinical Services. With six locations Summit Health is the largest physician owned medical group in Central Oregon, an area of 250,000, and serves as a comprehensive referral center for providers and communities throughout the state.

Summit Health currently employs nearly 650 people from all over Central Oregon.
