The Bend Memorial Clinic Laboratory is a CLIA certified full service clinical laboratory licensed to perform highly complex laboratory testing in areas such as Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation Urinalysis, Microbiology and Immunochemistry.

We collectively have over 300 years of clinical laboratory expertise within our dedicated team of laboratory professionals. The BMC laboratory utilizes cutting edge technologies and has partnered with Roche Diagnostics and Bayer Healthcare to deliver the highest possible quality in laboratory testing and accuracy.

For laboratory testing that must be sent to our reference laboratory, we have partnered with Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML). Founded in 1957, PAML has grown into the largest clinical laboratory operation in the region. Nationally recognized for pioneering innovation with joint ventures, outreach programs, esoteric testing and consultation, information technology solutions, and local laboratory management, PAML's commitment to high-quality healthcare aligns with our own.

To assure ongoing competency, the laboratory and all personnel participate in quarterly proficiency testing administered through the American Proficiency Institute (API). This proficiency testing is designed to verify all test systems and testing personnel to assure ongoing technical competency and proper equipment operation.

Quality control and quality assurance is of paramount importance. To that end, the laboratory performs quality control testing on every single test and test system on a daily basis to insure the very highest quality of patient services.

Bend Memorial Clinic Laboratory is also proud to offer our patients a convenient and cost effective way to access a limited number of tests that can be performed without an order from your physician. We call this program: Order Your Own Health Screen Testing. Order forms are available at the Laboratory Collection Center or can be downloaded by clicking here.

Our laboratory hours of operation are:

Bend Eastside Main Clinic: Monday through Friday, 7am to 7pm. Saturday 9am to 5pm. Closed Sundays and holidays.

Bend Westside Clinic: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6pm. Saturday 9am to 4pm. Closed Sundays and holidays.

Sisters Clinic: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30am to noon.

Redmond Clinic: Monday through Friday, 8am to 3:30pm.
