Important information regarding Cascade Healthcare Community's new health plan for employees

You may have heard the recent news that Bend Memorial Clinic (BMC) physicians were not included in the preferred network of providers (Tier 1) for Cascade Healthcare Community’s (CHC) new health plan, effective January 1, 2010.

As our valued patient, we want you to know that Bend Memorial Clinic will continue to honor every hospital employee as though you are in the preferred provider network. Specifically, BMC will charge you the same copay and apply the same coinsurance benefit as CHC employees who use the preferred network.

We believe deeply in your right to receive the healthcare you and your family need, from doctors you choose and trust. Our number one priority is supporting the sanctity of the patient – physician relationship.

NOTE: If you are covered under the CHC Oregon Nurses Association Plan, BMC remains an in-network provider under that plan; therefore you will continue to enjoy the same benefits and quality of care currently provided by BMC.
