The Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Department is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive and modern diagnostic and treatment options for adults and children suffering from allergic and immunologic conditions. We provide the highest quality of care in a personal, caring and state-of-the-art environment.

Dr. Adam Williams and the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Department will evaluate and treat a number of allergic and non-allergic conditions in children and adults of all ages with particular interest and expertise in the following areas:

  • Seasonal and year-round nasal and ocular allergies (hay fever)
  • Non-allergic causes of nasal problems (non-allergic rhinitis)
  • Asthma
  • Exercise-induced asthma
  • Chronic/recurrent rhino sinusitis (sinus infections)
  • Chronic/recurrent otitis media (ear infections)
  • Chronic cough
  • Extra-esophageal manifestations of acid reflux, laryngopharyngeal reflux
  • Food allergies
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
  • Urticaria (hives) & angioedema (giant swelling)
  • Eosinphilic esophagitis
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Insect allergy
  • Medication allergies (such as penicillin, sulfa, other antibiotics, NSAID, aspirin, intravenous contrast)
  • Aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease (aspirin-sensitive asthma)
  • Adult and pediatric immunodeficiency
Adam Williams

Adam Williams , MD

Adam Williams M.D. specializes in allergy, asthma and immunology for adults and children.  A graduate of the University of Oregon and Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine, Dr. Williams came from an Allergy / Immunology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California after he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego Medical Center.  Dr. Williams is Board Certified in Allergy / Immunology and Internal Medicine.  Dr. Williams has been active in a number of research projects involving asthma, food allergy, and drug allergy.  He has served as a physician volunteer at the American Lung Association’s Asthma Camp and enjoys running, cycling, hiking, camping and skiing.
