Jean Brown, PA-C

Jean has worked as a Physician Assistant in Cardiology for over 15 years. Brown is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Allied Health Physician Assistant Program and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Rodney Garrison , PA-C

Garrison is a graduate of Emory University Physician Assistant Program in Atlanta, Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Medical Science.  Rod also has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.  Before working at BMC, he was employed at The Vancouver Clinic in Internal Medicine for 28 years.

J. Timothy Hanlon, MD

Dr. Hanlon has been at Bend Memorial Clinic since 1980. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Hanlon graduated from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1974 where he also completed his residency in 1977. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular diseases at the University of California – San Francisco. Dr. Hanlon is Board Certified in Echocardiography.

Rick Koch, MD

Dr. Koch is the Director of Advanced Non-invasive Cardiovascular Imaging at Bend Memorial Clinic. He is a non-invasive cardiologist who joined BMC in July 2005 from University of Chicago Hospitals, where he completed medical school, residency and fellowship. Hi is Board Certified in Internal medicine, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Koch also has advanced training in Cardiac CT and MRI. Having published numerous papers and abstracts in the field of cardiac imaging and holding multiple patents in the area of cardiac ultrasound, Dr. Koch is dedicated to partnering with patients through education and understanding in achieving a higher quality of life.

Gavin Noble , MD

Dr. Noble is the Medical Director for the Nuclear Medicine department in the clinic.with a focus on Non-Invasive Cardiology. Prior to his position with the Clinic, Dr. Noble served as an Attending Cardiologist on the teaching service at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Noble is a graduate of the State University of New York at Syracuse, College of Medicine and completed his residency at University of New Mexico Hospital.  He also completed his fellowships in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at the Henry Low Division of Cardiology, Hartford Hospital and The University of Connecticut, Hartford, Connecticut.

In addition Dr. Noble was nominated and won the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology Young Investigator Competition and was Resident of the Year at the University of New Mexico, Department of Internal Medicine.  He has published multiple papers and abstracts and is active in many research endeavors. 

Eris Craven, MS, RD

Eris is a Registered Dietician, assisting patients with their nutritional programs. She completed her Dietetic Internship from California State University in 2001. Eris also earned a Masters Degree in sports nutrition from San Jose State University and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Exercise Science at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. She has served as a Nutrition Educator and Clinical Dietician for a variety of medical clinics in California.

Vanessa Vargas, RD, LDN

Vanessa Vargas joined Bend Memorial Clinic in June 2004. Certified as a registered and licensed dietitian, Vanessa graduated from Indiana University Bloomington. She completed her dietetic internship at St. Carondelet Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Vanessa was previously a coordinator and nutritionist for a surgical weight loss program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Vanessa has much experience as an outpatient dietitian working with an array of nutritional needs. Specializations include weight management, diabetes, renal disease, and sports nutrition.
