A full range of gynecology services are now available at BMC, including a compliment of surgical and outpatient services.

Maria Emerson, MD

Before joining BMC, Dr. Emerson practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 5 years at the Bronx¬Lebanon Hospital in New York and was also an instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
She was chief resident at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital during her residency and received her medical degree with distinction from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her BS in Biology from Manhattan College.

Elizabeth McCorkle, MD

Dr. McCorkle comes to Bend from the Center for Women’s Health in Eugene. She brings over 13 years of women’s care to BMC having completed her residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in North Carolina, her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia and her undergraduate degree from Rollins College in Florida. Dr. McCorkle has a special interest in menopausal women’s care.
