The Surgical Specialists at BMC

Founded in 1946, the BMC Surgery Department is Central Oregon’s oldest and most respected surgical department. Our services encompass all aspects of general surgery, including abdominal, colon/rectal, endocrine/thyroid, pediatric, thoracic (chest), breast, vascular and cancer-related operations. We also offer innovative laparoscopic procedures featuring minimally invasive techniques, comprehensive care for pulmonary and lung cancer patients, and leading-edge treatments for esophogeal cases.

Our surgeons perform operations at both St. Charles Medical Center and the Bend Surgery Center, Bend’s only stand-alone outpatient surgery center. You can call our appointment line directly. A Bend Memorial Clinic surgeon is on-call 24 hours a day for all your surgery needs.
