BEND, Ore. — Bend Memorial Clinic (BMC) has hired David Holloway, MD, CPE, FAAFP as the new Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Holloway joins BMC after serving as Chief Medical Officer at Salem Health. He also served in physician leadership roles as the Chief Quality Officer for Parkview Health in Indiana, Vice President of St. John Health System and President of OMNI Medical Group in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is recognized as a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association for Physician Leadership and is a Fellow of the Academy of Family Physicians.
“Dr. Holloway brings extensive experience in physician leadership, a strong background in healthcare management and a committed focus for patient safety and care,” said Greg Hagfors, Chief Executive Officer for BMC. “His past experiences and knowledge will be beneficial to BMC and will help us move forward in our efforts to provide the highest quality care.”
Dr. Holloway completed medical school and residency at the University of Oklahoma. After completing his family practice residency, Dr. Holloway built an urgent care and family clinic in a small Oklahoma community. Since then his professional path has taken him to Indiana and Oregon. Throughout his medical career, first as a practicing physician and then as a leader in clinic and hospital settings for the last 20 years, his focus has always been the patients. He is a committed advocate for patient safety and making sure that patients receive the right care, every time.
