Ian C. Riddock, MD, FACC Joins Summit Medical Group Oregon’s Cardiology Department

BEND, OR. – Ian C. Riddock, MD, FACC, has joined the Cardiology team of Summit Medical Group Oregon (SMGOR), specializing in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, implantable cardiac devices including permanent pacemakers, ICDs and ILRs, personalized risk assessment, heart failure, chronic angina and clinical research.

Previously with Bend Memorial Clinic (BMC), Dr. Riddock is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, clinical lipidology and cardiovascular computed tomography. He is also a certified specialist in echocardiography, clinical hypertension through the American Society of Hypertension and in preventive cardiology by the Society for Heart Attack Prevention and Education (SHAPE).

With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Riddock’s goal is to eradicate heart disease, prevent stroke and keep patients out of the hospital. “It is my mission to recognize cardiovascular disease before it causes permanent consequences and to reverse its course once it is found,” says Dr. Riddock.

Dr. Riddock graduated with honors from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his residency at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB. Dr. Riddock served two deployments to Afghanistan.
