Andrew Jensen
Andrew Jensen, DO, is part of Summit Health’s Dermatology team. Dr. Jensen treats a variety of skin conditions in patients of all ages. His interests include skin cancer detection and treatment, eczema, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. He also has expert training in cosmetic dermatology and enjoys utilizing cosmetic products and procedures to help those who desire to look as healthy as they feel.
Dr. Jensen’s passion for dermatology came while spending time overseas witnessing firsthand the effects poor health can have on individuals and families. That experience led him to a research position with a dermatologist where he learned how healing skin can transform a person’s self-confidence, well-being and overall happiness.
Dr. Jensen received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at LECOM/Larkin Community Hospital, in Miami, Florida. Dr. Jensen has presented research and published multiple articles on a variety of dermatologic disorders and continues to stay involved in medical research.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Osteopathic Association.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Jensen enjoys being outdoors with his wife and three children. He enjoys hiking, skiing, basketball and soccer.
