Anthony J. Fillmore, MD joined the Summit Health – Summit Health Surgery Department in 2015. After training, Dr. Fillmore was a member of the Amarillo Surgical Group in Amarillo, Texas for 13 years before moving to Bend. He spent most of his life in Texas, but now calls Central Oregon home. He obtained his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He completed his fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA.
Dr. Fillmore is board certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS), holds a Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand by ABS, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand.
His areas of special interest include advanced laparoscopic surgery, all areas of general surgery and hand surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Fillmore enjoys being with family, spending time outdoors, skiing, golf, hiking, camping, traveling and pursuing medical missions.
