Anthony M. Kahr
Rheumatology
Anthony Kahr’s undergraduate education was at Boston College. He went on to attend medical school at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington DC. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Kahr is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Kahr’s special interests include identification and treatment of early rheumatoid arthritis, management of acute and chronic gouty arthritis, cardiac risk in rheumatologic diseases, diagnosis and treatment of metabolic bone disease, management of autoimmune eye disease and autoimmune related lung disease. He chose rheumatology to form lasting relationships with patients. In addition to the management of chronic disease, Dr. Kahr enjoys educating patients regarding their disease and treatment options available. Dr. Kahr is interested in patient centered, shared decision making.
In his spare time, Dr. Kahr enjoys biking, skiing, reading and spending time with his wife and daughter.
