Dr. Miriovsky’s professional interests span the realm of oncology and hematology. He knows that cancer is a scary diagnosis, with many decisions facing the cancer patients and their families. He understands that sometimes these decisions are simple and straightforward, but more often, they are very complicated, with lots of uncertainty. He believes his job is to help cancer patients understand the uncertainties and, by listening to their wishes and engaging in open discussion, guide them to decisions that reflect their wishes. His first priority is to take care of the entire patient, not just their cancer.
In his spare time you’ll find Dr. Miriovsky spending time with his wife and six children reading, skiing and hiking.
