Elysia Churchman, PA-C is a native Oregonian and grew up in Bend. She attended undergraduate school at the University of Redlands and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology. Due to her interest in public health, Elysia pursued a Master’s of Science in Global Medicine from the University of Southern California and then continued on to PA School at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where she earned a Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Elysia is nationally certified by the NCCPA and by the Oregon Medical Board.
Elysia enjoys forming relationships with patients and working with them, as well as their primary care physicians, to find treatment plans that are tailored to their needs. She believes there is value in going beyond an acute diagnosis and viewing each individual as a whole. Due to her public health background, she is very interested in patient education and preventative medicine.
In her spare time outside the clinic, you can find Elysia hiking, snowboarding, enjoying water sports, yoga and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
