Gregory J. Ferenz, DO joins Bend Memorial Clinic in Neurology. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Delaware in Psychology before going on to medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, his neurology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and his fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center as well. Dr. Ferenz is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ANPN). He holds society memberships from the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, American Heart Association (Stroke Council), American Epilepsy Society, and Wilderness Medicine Society.
Dr. Ferenz has broad interests in all areas of the diverse field of neurology with a particular interest in diagnosis utilizing neurophysiologic techniques such as EMG, EEG, and Evoked potentials. He enjoys providing compassionate care in the diagnosis and management of patients with complex neurologic symptoms and diseases.
In his spare time you’ll find Dr. Ferenz adventuring around the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two Pembroke Welsh Corgi’s. His hobbies include cycling, hiking, camping and eveything else Central Oregon has to offer.
