Jamie Paluck, DPM, is a member of Summit Medical Group Oregon’s Podiatry team. Dr. Paluck completed her undergraduate degree at Southwestern University, Georgetown, TX. She went on to Arizona State University in Tempe where she did graduate work in Biomechanics. Her medical education continued at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, where she graduated with honors. Her internship and residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery was completed at the Legacy Health/Kaiser Foundation Hospitals in Portland.
Dr. Paluck is a podiatrist who has practiced podiatry in Bend since 2015. Her expertise includes evaluation and treatment of a wide-variety of common foot and ankle-related problems including corns and calluses, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, sprains and strains, plantar fasciitis, bunions, and hammertoe. She will also provide preventative foot care for diabetic and other high-risk patients.
Dr. Paluck’s inspiration to become a foot and ankle specialist was shaped by her father’s below- knee amputation which took place when she was a young child. Being fascinated by how her father moved with an altered gait, she decided to pursue a degree in biomechanics with a focus on gait mechanics (how joints move when we walk). From there, she went on to get her podiatry degree so she could apply her expertise in a clinical setting. “I’m excited to further my experience at SMGOR. Working in a multi-disciplinary care clinic will allow more immediate access to other specialties and resources needed to improve the lives and overall mobility of my patients,” says Dr. Paluck.
Outside of work, Dr. Paluck enjoys traveling with her husband. She’s an avid reader and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. She loves to ski, bike, and hike. As a former collegiate volleyball player, she still tries to play whenever she can.
