John P. Tully, PA-C obtained his certification as a Physician Assistant from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. Mr. Tully is certified by the National Certification on Physician Assistants in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He also holds a Federal Drug Enforcement License.
Mr. Tully worked as an EMT in his early 20’s and was inspired by working alongside emergency physicians who were instrumental in their communities. He loves that everyday urgent care presents him new challenges and the continued pursuit of medical knowledge. Mr. Tully is driven by the constant evolution of medicine and enjoys sharing and implementing this knowledge with his patients. Mr. Tully welcomes the opportunity to help people through injury and illness – no matter how large or small the ailment. He feels it’s his duty to help people become the best version of themselves by being an efficient, empathetic and concerned provider. Mr. Tully is particularly interested in women’s rights.
Mr. Tully relocated to Bend from Portland. He grew up in Illinois, but moved to Colorado to obtain his undergraduate degree. It was in Colorado that he discovered his passion for the great outdoors and environmentalism. Mr. Tully received his physician assistant education in California and began practicing there. He later moved to Southern Utah where he practiced medicine for over 13 years but is excited to make Central Oregon his home where he can continually enjoy the many outdoor activities the area has to offer.
