Robert Andrews
Robert Andrews, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Gastroenterology team. Dr. Andrews received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and earned his Master of Public Health at the University of Health Sciences Center in Dallas, TX. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Dr. Andrews completed his internal medicine residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA.
Dr. Andrews has a special interest in liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. During his fellowship, he helped present special cases at national conferences and assisted in large studies promoting colon cancer screening.
Dr. Andrews is passionate about providing patients with the highest quality of care. He is also fluent in Spanish and of Hispanic descent. For this reason, he is eager to promote gastroenterology health issues to Hispanic and Non-Hispanic patients alike.
When Dr. Andrews is not in the office, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities such as fly fishing, hiking, kayaking, and skiing. He loves central Oregon and plans on living here for the rest of his life.
