Dr. Elliott-Mullens was born and raised in Texas. He completed his undergraduate education from Texas A&M and became a member of the Texas Aggie Corps of Cadets where he remained for 10 years. He has since decided to move to Central Oregon for cooler weather and mountain views. Additionally, he is the Medical Director of the Airlink Klamath Falls program.
Dr. Elliott-Mullens has received education from the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his medical residency from the University of Kansas Medical Center Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine department. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and board eligible in Sleep Medicine. Rod also is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. His areas of special interest include bronchiectasis, COPD, insomnia and obstructive sleep apnea.
When he’s not in the office, Rod enjoys software development on iOS and iPhone technologies, strength training and making homemade cheese and wine. Dr. Elliott-Mullens also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
